Prayer Ministry

| |
Jesus told His disciples
that God’s temple was “a house of prayer for all the
nations” (Mark 11.17). In many situations He taught
His followers about prayer, and the Gospels tell us that
Jesus often retreated for the purpose of prayer. In
fact, before Jesus chose His Apostles He prayed all
night (Luke 6.12-16).
So, as followers of
Jesus, we believe in the power of prayer. Because of
this we have a prayer chain; we offer time during our
worship service for God’s people to offer prayer
requests; and we have a weekly prayer meeting for men at
6:30 AM on Wednesdays. The people of Friendship are
given a weekly list of prayer concerns on our bulletin.
This includes prayers for our military, college
students, and homebound.
If you would like us to
pray for you, please fill out the prayer request form,
and we would be glad to add you to our prayer list.
